libtxc-dxtn-s2tc-bin software package provides S2TC texture compression and conversion tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libtxc-dxtn-s2tc-bin
libtxc-dxtn-s2tc-bin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libtxc-dxtn-s2tc-bin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libtxc-dxtn-s2tc-bin *
You will get with libtxc-dxtn-s2tc-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
